Troubleshooting Tips for your ionchill Mini Cooler

If your ionchill Mini Cooler doesn’t turn on, check that the AC or DC adapter is firmly plugged into both the cooler and your chosen AC wall outlet or DC socket. Make sure that the cooler’s power switch is in the ON position. Clean both the adapter and the cooler with a soft, dry cloth, then try plugging the adapter back into the cooler.
You should also ensure that the adapter isn’t visibly damaged, and that no component of the cooler appears to be malfunctioning in any way. If there is nothing visibly wrong with your cooler, then a more serious issue may be present. The cooler only gets up to 20°F cooler than its surrounding ambient temperature.
If you are in a hot or humid environment, then the interior of the cooler may not feel as cold as you would like it to be. Make sure you are in a cool environment or a space that’s at room temperature. If you are outside, do your best to keep the Mini Cooler in an area that’s away from heat sources or direct sunlight.
You should also check that the AC or DC adapter is plugged in properly, and that the cooler is turned on. If it still won’t turn on, then there may be an issue with the cooler’s internal circuitry. In this case, turn off the cooler, unplug it, and immediately contact Customer Service for more information. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the cooler by yourself.
You should never place any sort of flammable objects inside the cooler. These objects may cause serious damage to the cooler, and may cause it to ignite or explode. Long, sharp objects and other dangerous items should also not be placed in the cooler, as they might damage its interior or cause personal injury if these items fall out unexpectedly.
The odds of anything falling out of the cooler are low, but any damage to the interior of the cooler could cause a reduction in performance and/or lifespan, as well as damage to the cooler’s internal cooling mechanism.
Never store or use the ionchill Mini Cooler in extremely hot or cold environments. Anywhere with flammable objects, water, or other liquids are also off-limits, such as near a stove, grill, pool, sink, or bathtub. These substances could cause the cooler to be severely damaged, ignite, or explode, which may result in serious injury.
In addition, it is not recommended to store or use the cooler near the edge of a table or other surface, since it could be knocked off and be damaged or broken depending on the severity of the fall. Although the exterior of the ionchill Mini Cooler is extremely durable, its internal circuitry is not as sturdy, and any damage to it could result in the cooler no longer working properly.
