Troubleshooting Tips for Your ionvac DeskVac

What if the vacuum doesn’t turn on?

Make sure that the vacuum is fully charged before attempting to turn it on. Check that the included charging cable isn’t wet, torn, or damaged in any way. Securely reattach the bottom cover to the main body of the DeskVac, as it may not turn on if it isn’t fully reconnected back to the vacuum. In addition, you should ensure that the motor isn’t exposed to water or any other liquid, since this could cause serious damage to the product. If all of the above suggestions fail, feel free to contact our Customer Service team at support@tzumi.com or 1-855-GO-TZUMI. An experienced customer support representative will be happy to assist you.

What if the vacuum’s suction is weak?

Inspect and clean the bottom cover regularly.

An overfilled dustbin may block the airflow, reduce the vacuum’s suction capacity, overheat the motor, and reduce the lifespan of your mini desk vacuum. Recharge the vacuum back to full power if necessary. Check that the filter is not clogged or damaged in some way. For further troubleshooting tips, please call or email us at support@tzumi.com or 1-855-GO-TZUMI.

What if the vacuum isn’t sucking up any more dirt or dust?

The DeskVac should be able to pick up most small particles of dirt or dust with ease. If not, then it is recommended that you empty the dustbin promptly. Something may be stuck in the DeskVac’s brush bristles, or the filter may be covered or blocked by dirt, dust, or debris of some kind. Clean each component of the vacuum, and make sure that everything is securely and properly installed. If all of the above suggestions don’t resolve the issue, then you should reach out to Customer Service for advice on what to do next.

What if the vacuum starts to get louder than normal?

If you notice that your ionvac DeskVac is starting to sound louder than usual, then the motor may be overheating, or the vacuum may be reaching the end of its lifespan. Try cleaning the vacuum and its dustbin thoroughly, and recharge the vacuum back up to full power. Let it rest for a few hours before using it again. Do not disassemble or modify this device in any way. This may damage the vacuum. Instead, contact Customer Service for the next steps to take.
