Check that you have properly and securely installed the light strip. Only use a clean, dry USB power source, in cool, dry environments, that has enough power for the AuraLED ColorStrip. The power source’s voltage should be at least 5V. The strip will not turn on if its USB cable isn’t securely plugged into the USB power source. Be sure to follow the steps listed in the included User Guide very thoroughly.

Never cut any part of the LED strip, nor its connectors. You should also ensure that the light strip itself is not wet, dirty, damaged, or visibly malfunctioning in any way. Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth if any part of the strip is covered in dirt, dust, or other debris.

Keep it away from extremely hot or cold temperatures, as well as high humidity levels. Only use the light strip in environments with a temperature between the range of -4°F (-20°C) and 113°F (45°C). You should only use or store it in areas with 0 – 80% RH humidity levels.

It’s crucial to ensure that the included wireless remote only has CR2025-CR2032 battery types inside of it. The remote will not work with any other battery types. If the remote’s operation becomes slow, then it may be time to replace the old battery with a new one. Fully insert the new battery into the remote’s battery compartment, and make sure the compartment is fully clean and dry.

Make sure you are not using the remote in an extremely cold or hot environment, as well as locations with high humidity. Do not stand too far from the strip, as the remote does not work from more than 26 ft. away. Ensure that nothing is covering either the strip’s remote receiver or the wireless remote.
