Troubleshooting Tips for Your MegaBass LED Jobsite Speaker

What should I do if the speaker’s sound quality is poor?

If the speaker’s sound quality is poor, check that it is sufficiently charged, and that all components have been installed correctly.

You should also ensure that the speaker is properly connected to your device, whether it be through Bluetooth or one of the several media ports. Try turning the volume up on the speaker’s control panel and see if that helps.

If none of the above suggestions work, please reach out to us at or 1-855-GO-TZUMI, and an experienced customer support representative will be more than happy to help you.

What should I do if the speaker doesn’t turn on?

You should try fully recharging the speaker if it fails to turn on. It’s also possible that some components of the speaker are not set up properly, or one of your connected devices may have caused an issue with the speaker.

Disconnect all devices that you may have used with the MegaBass, then recharge the speaker and try to power it on again. If this fails, then another problem may be present with your product.

Call or email us at or 1-855-GO-TZUMI for further assistance.

Why can’t my speaker connect to Bluetooth?

The speaker’s Bluetooth function should automatically activate once the speaker is turned on.

If it doesn’t activate, it is recommended to power the speaker off, then turn it back on again. Alternatively, check that the issue isn’t with the device you are trying to pair to the speaker via Bluetooth.

Try powering your chosen device off and on again, or reactivating its Bluetooth function to see if that helps. If not, feel free to contact our Customer Service team for more information.

Is the speaker waterproof? What happens if it gets wet?

Unfortunately, the speaker is not fully waterproof, and serious irreversible damage to the product may occur if it is submerged in water or other liquids.

Per the Warnings section in the included User Guide, do not use or store the speaker near water or other liquids to prevent damage to the product and/or injury to yourself and others.

Do not attempt to touch or dry the speaker if it is wet and powered on. Get in touch with our Customer Service team immediately for the next steps to take.

What if the microphone doesn’t work?

Check that the microphone is powered on and properly inserted into your speaker. Make sure you are close enough to the microphone so that your voice can be picked up.

In addition, make sure that the speaker is sufficiently charged and turned on as well to ensure proper operation.

Make sure that the microphone has no broken or visibly damaged components; if it does, do not attempt to use it in any way.

In addition, do not try to disassemble or repair the microphone or any component of the speaker by yourself, as this may void any warranty in place. Instead, please reach out to Customer Service for help.
